WE DID IT! Thank you all so much. Christmas this year at Lift Up Children Uganda Orphanage will be the best one yet. We have hit our goal and the kids will be able to help host an awesome party to help feed hundreds in their community, and also bless the children of LUCU Orphanage receive new clothing! Thank you all for this amazing blessing!
UPDATE DEC/06/2023 To date we have raised a total of $1,290 CAD. That means we only have $ 710 CAD to raise. Thanks again to all who have contributed and to those who share what we are doing with your friends and family. You are all truly a blessing.
Most countries have different ways of celebrating the holidays. Here at Aid Liberty Missions, we want to make sure that the children of Lift Up Children Uganda Orphanage (LUCU) have a great Christmas celebration as well. Each year we raise funds to help LUCU orphanage host Christmas at the orphanage where hundreds gather from the community to share in a meal, drinks and treats. Not only do the children at LUCU orphanage look forward to this celebration each year, but they get opportunity to bless their community with a warm meal, and to share in the hope that you and I are bringing to the small village of Hima in Uganda.
This year we have received donations already to cover the cost of this grand holiday feast. Our goal this year is to raise funds to purchase more clothing for the children of LUCU orphanage, as we know clothing does not last forever. Our goal for clothing is to raise $2000 CAD for the children, and so far we have raised $670, leaving a Target of $1330 to raise. This is our Christmas goal for these children this year.
